John Rodrigues

Mr. Rodrigues is a leading authority on risk and threat assessments, protective services and corporate security with over 30 years of experience. He served more than 28 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service in various investigative, protective and supervisory assignments throughout the United States and abroad. After retiring from the U.S. Secret Service, Mr. Rodrigues held senior level security management positions as Director of Security and Senior Director of Security Operations for Fidelity Investments.

As a Senior Director of Security at Fidelity, Mr. Rodrigues responsibilities included planning, designing and implementing security strategies, training and awareness programs at the corporate and regional levels.

During Mr. Rodrigues tenure with the U. S. Secret Service he protected seven sitting and former U.S. Presidents, as well as numerous foreign Heads of State including, Pope John Paul II, President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, King Hussein of Jordan, Fidel Castro of Cuba and other foreign dignitaries. Mr. Rodrigues was the Assistant to the Special Agent in charge of the Boston field office responsible for the supervision of criminal investigations, intelligence, and protective operations. He has also completed assignments as a member of the Boston Joint Drug Enforcement Task Force, The New England Bank Fraud Task Force and the Financial Organized Crime Task Force.

Mr. Rodrigues is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, has a MA in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College, and a BA in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art.
